Used as a means of increasing air flow through duct work or as an exhaust fan to vent non-combustible air or fumes from enclosed spaces. The maximum air flow operating temperature for the EF-Series is1500 F. (650 C.) CAUTION: This device is not designed to vent bi-products of combustion or combustible fumes.

The venturi action of Tjernlund Auto-Draft Inducers starts air moving smoothly. These units are quick and easy to install and completely automatic in operation. Tjernlund’s unique design and durable construction makes them trouble-free and reduces maintenance to a minimum. The Vari-Draft Control permits adjustments to the individual job requirement.

Heating appliances are designed to operate with a consistent draft. Chimney configurations, mechanical draft fans and weather can cause draft fluctuations. These fluctuations result in inefficient combustion and more frequent service calls. Draft controls regulate the airflow through a chimney or vent. By diluting the chimney/vent draft with varying amounts of room air they maintain the draft at a heater's flue outlet within a consistent, safe and efficient range. This single acting control is made of galvanized steel for low maintenance and corrosion resistance. It has integral anchor points and self- aligning, self-centering rocker bearings for long lasting service. A cushioned stop minimizes rattle and noise. Adjustment is easily accomplished by moving counter weight on outside tab.

This Safety Interlock System may be used on conventional chimney or Power Vented appliances equipped with a draft hood, draft diverter or draft control. It's purpose is to provide a means for appliance shut-down in the event of flue blockage or down drafts. The Spill Switch circuits are “normally closed” and will not affect normal appliance operation. When concentrated spillage of combustion gases occurs from the draft hood, diverter or barometric control, the Spill Switch circuit will open preventing burner operation. ***WARNING*** The 24SP200 Flue Gas Spillage Sensing Kit is designed to alert the user to a potentially hazardous condition. It is not designed to, and cannot replace regular chimney inspection, appliance servicing and combustion testing. DO NOT USE THE 24SP200 AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL APPLIANCE MAINTENANCE.

The gas pressure switch is mounted on the casing of the water heater adjacent to the heater's thermostat/gas control valve. It should be mounted close enough so that the supplied 1/4" tubing will reach from the gas pressure switch fitting to the thermostat/gas valve pressure tap port. The two provided screws are self-tapping and drilling. The screws do not require the use of a drill and their 1/2" length assures that the inner tank will not be penetrated
