Apart from the controller for temperature differences an electronically controlled limitation of the storing temperature has been built in. Of course, it is possible to adjust hysteresis, temperature difference and max. storing temperature individually. By using the hand-gear control you can adjust the pump for testing or other operations. A display indicating the temperature informs you about the collector temperature to be stored.     The Steca Suntana solar thermal controller is another member of our solar thermal controller family. The controller monitors and controls solar thermal systems with one collector array, one storage tank and alternatively with an appropriate back-up heating or circulation pump.

    Apart from controlling the solar energy system, the controller also performs important system monitoring and safety functions. The system parameters and measured values can be viewed and modified via a 2 x 16-digit LCD display. The amount of solar energy fed from the collector array into the storage tank can be read from the LCD display at any time, thanks to a volumetric flow meter with pulse output. The controller has a maximum of five inputs for temperature measurement, a digital pulse input for recording heat quantity, and two outputs for controlling pumps.
