The gas pressure switch is mounted on the casing of the water heater adjacent to the heater's thermostat/gas control valve. It
should be mounted close enough so that the supplied 1/4" tubing will reach from the gas pressure switch fitting to the thermostat/gas valve pressure tap port. The two provided screws are self-tapping and drilling. The screws do not require the use of a drill and their 1/2" length assures that the inner tank will not be penetrated
Enables Appliances to be Interlocked in Conjunction with UC1 universal control
The MAC4E is used in conjunction with the UC1 Universal Control to interlock up to four additional 24 VAC, 115 VAC or millivolt (Dry Contact) controlled appliances. It activates the Venter through its connections to the UC1 and in turn relies on the UC1 Fan Prover safety circuit (P1 & P2) to allow its interlocked appliances to operate. Any pre/post-purge settings on the UC1 will be defaulted to the MAC4E. Two LEDs for each appliance interlock block are provided on the MAC4E. LEDs #1, 3, 5, 7 (AMBER) shows an appliance call for heat. LEDs #2, 4, 6, 8 (GREEN) shows that the burner is approved to fire after the Venter Fan Prover safety circuit through the UC1 is completed. The MAC4E also has an LED #9 (RED) which means power is supplied to the MAC4E through the UC1.
Used as a means of increasing air flow through duct work or as an exhaust fan to vent non-combustible air or fumes from enclosed spaces. The maximum air flow operating temperature for the EF-Series is1500 F. (650 C.)

It has integral anchor points and self- aligning, self-centering rocker bearings for long lasting service. A cushioned stop minimizes rattle and noise. Adjustment is easily accomplished by moving counter weight on outside tab.

This Safety Interlock System may be used on conventional chimney or Power Vented appliances equipped with a draft hood, draft diverter or draft control. It's purpose is to provide a means for appliance shut-down in the event of flue blockage or down drafts. The Spill Switch circuits are “normally closed” and will not affect normal appliance operation. When concentrated spillage of combustion gases occurs from the draft hood, diverter or barometric control, the Spill Switch circuit will open preventing burner operation.
